This is a study worth taking a second look
When shown a photo of a couple going at it, most men look at the woman's face before examining the rest of the picture, according to a study from Emory University. The same researchers found that women looked at pictures of couples having sex for a longer time than men did. Who would have thought guys were the romantic ones? No, they are the people who congratulated me because I am already over and done with college. Thus, they get to be included in the acknowledgment part of my thesis.
JC, actually you knew beforehand so I did not bother including you in the group message. Then again, your response of, "Nakakahiya ka. Ang tagal mo naman," does not count as a valid congratulatory reply.
But... you make up for it and you could still be part of the greeting portion of the inlay card.

Powtah... bakit lahat sa Sabado?
Consider the sched this Saturday...
Thesis defense late morning, BELL Center launch at 3pm, two Christmas parties at night, and the first night of the Bulalohan Atbp. Magic: The Gathering Ironman Tournament which is to start roughly after midnight as we wait for Simbang Gabi morning.
And these are just the appointments I said 'yes' to. Now count the ones I had to decline just because there is not enough time in that 24-hour span to accommodate them all...
This extreme games/concert event organized by Red Horse and handled by ThemeWorks Events (the one who took care of the logistics of the 2007 Nike Summer League) (whole day), this PFF-organized football tournament where the DLSU-D football club (unofficial name) is joining (whole day), the Grupo Filipino Salsa Christmas Party/Sir Ares' despedida (6pm-12mn), and now, an invite coming from JC about a clearance sale of a certain Luis Katigbak.
Why did everybody have to schedule every ga-damm event/party in one friggin' day?

An MTV Music Summit epiphany
Watching Pupil live reminded I am still an Ely Buendia fanboy despite with what he did to my all-time favourite band at the turn of the millennium. The guitarwork in "Sala" has been unheard of since "Aloha Milkyway".
Then Cambio went onstage, and I totally forgot what I said about Ely. 3 Heads (Kris Dancel included) are better than one.

I am turning Koreanese, I really think so
Starting Saturday, I am back in my Christmas gig. Please, do not tell this would become seasonal just like my UAAP/NCAA racket for Ubelt (if you click the link right now, you would be redirected to RP Sports which is currently providing 2007 SEA Games updates).
Going back, this time this is for the aunt in the Bloomfield English Languange Learning (BELL) Center. Back when I was applying, I shared my epiphany with friends and these are some of the feedback I received.
"Dahil it will rob us of whatever competitive advantage we have left. Unless the offer is way too good that the joke is on them." - Sealdi
Ouch on the first sentence. Slapped by my own philosophy in life. Yeah, I am one of the root causes why Filipinos are becoming less unique as a people, as a race even, as time goes by.
"Teach how Filipino nation first." - Kathy
Second ouch. One of the persons I poured my frustrations at during the time I could see the relevance of what I was doing around this time last year.
"As long as they're under your power." - Celiza
The only 'positive' comment I got besides the scattering 'Astigs' and 'Cools' I received.
Whoring at the time of globalization this is. The other one is call cennering, but that is a different topic altogether.
