April fool's recap
- I only had four or five odd hours of sleep. I could not even fall asleep while commuting.
- I forgot to bring my tumbler.
- I was falling sleep while covering the PBL games for UBelt. The sad part is that my sleepiness would leave me during breaks.
- The PBL games ended late, as is the usual case when it is held in Rizal Memorial Coliseum. For some strange reason, playdates finish earlier than 6pm at The Arena.
- My complimentary meal was a cheesedog sandwich. Not counting hotdog bits, this is my first sausage this year. No, wait, I think I already consumed a hotdog waffle one time before. Anyway...
- I was forced to jog/brisk walk from Paseo de Roxas to MRT Ayala Station since the bus I was in endlessly waited itself to be filled up after I passed by the Lazaro dorm to interview Elaigh for my articles in my nightshift dayjob.
- Ara's PC was infected by a trojan.
- I had to sprint/run/brisk walk to the office from Shaw Blvd. since I was already running late.
- My bag strap gave up on me.
- The login program in the office conked out.
- I was not able to submit my PBL articles on my preferred time.
- My blog contributions was sent back to me for classification.
- The packed lunch provided by PBL which I brought as my heavy meal got spoilt.
- I was lights out in my cubicle for 30 odd minutes, snoozing, waking, some key stroking and mouse clicking, position shifting, then going back to snoozing.
- I missed my quota by one article.
- I logged out past 630am already.
- My seatmate at the jeepney on the way home stunk.
- I arrived home to find the dining room floodied because the water dispenser container fell to the floor.
Or... I could focus on the positives instead.
- Despite forgetting my tumbler at home, I had a McGuyver moment and was resourcesful enough to use the complimentary water bottle as temporary tumbler at work.
- Jonas helped me out in the PBL coverage and interviews for the articles.
- Elaigh was able to interject 'latest news' while we were having the interview.
- She served me Quaker Oats for dinner.
- That there is the MRT for me to take so that I would not be late.
- I had friends who willingly helped out Ara with her Greek problem on her PC.
- The account manager informed starting the next shift, I would be in the same row as my team.
- My mom gave me more than enough money for me to commute and have a heavy meal at the office pantry.
- Despite the missed quota, I finished three articles. Besides, I could make up for it the rest of the week.
- Despite the seeming backlog, I could look at it another way and claim that today (April 2) would be my most productive day if I am able to finish the three pending PBL articles, input the necessary additions to my blog submissions, make up for the missed quota yesterday, and be able to reach my quota for today. That would be like 11 articles all in all! Woozah!
- The adjustment slip (forgot what it is exactly called) righted all the logging problems encountered at the start of the shift.
- My seatmate stunk on the way assured that I would not fall asleep on the ride.
- Ara was there for me all the time.
